Penduka is also a unique place for holiday with view on a beautiful lake.
Penduka is situated at the Goreangabdam, 8 km outside Windhoek, de capital city of Namibië. At Penduka you can stay one or a few nights in a lovely rondavel at the lake site.

Rondavel:
Penduka has 6 rondavels for 2 persons with a view at the lake and a private bathroom.
- Luxury: 2 persons / € 50 per night
- 1 person / € 27 per night
- Standard: 2 persons / € 44 per night
- 1 person / € 24 per night
An extra bed can be put on the room / € 10 per night. Penduka offers also “room service “, at every rondavel there is a smal buth intimate terrasse where you can order your breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Backpackers Hostel:
Penduka has 5 backpacker units , each unit 5 beds and a central bathroom. 1 person / € 10,00 per night
Campsite/Bush-kitchen
Penduka has a small campsite and a bush-kitchen where you can cook your own meal.
Restaurant
Penduka has a beautiful restaurant and terrasse with view over the lake. Here you can order breakfast, lunch or diner. Splendid place for a nice sundowner.
Penduka serves every day breakfast, lunch and diner and a daily menu.

Workshops
You can follow Penduka workshops or learn handcraft technics like:
- Glass recycling methods to make your own jewellery
- Handcraft your own story by embroidery
- Learn how to braid a basket
- Make an African Potjie kos on a open fire
- Batik a product ,the African way
- Make a solarbox on which you can cook outdoor.
- Learn drumming and dancing
This in cooperation with Penduka ladies whom will tell you about their lives and culture during the activity.
You can book the workshops for a half or a whole day.

Excursions
Penduka organises excursions. You can visit women at their homes in Katatura, the township of Windhoek. You can make a bike tour to katutura (www.katutours.com) or you can make an excursion to the Wake Up daycare centre in Otjimuise.
On Penduka’s premises:
In the living village, you can take part of different activities organised by Harmonature (alternative energy program). Traditionel habbits in combination with new technics.
