SHIPPING

 

Once your order and payment are received by us, we will contact you within 48
hours.

 

Products will be sent to you within 5 working days unless noted.


The shipping costs for all our items depend on the size or weight of the order and the
country of destination and are calculated automatically upon checkout, depending on
destination and weight. For the best price ratio, we advise you to order products up
to a total weight of 2 kg.


Christmas presents should be ordered and paid till 3rd December to ensure them
get safely to their destination address until Christmas Eve, despite typical high
logistical traffic in the EU at that time. In case you order later than 3rd December,
please note in the comment area of your order that this is a Christmas present and
we will try to find a solution - or get in touch with you in case we cannot find a
workaround, e.g. due to low local stock levels.


Custom-made products, according to personal taste, color or concept by the Penduka
team in Namibia will lead to a delivery time of 3 weeks up to max. 3 months. We will
send you a status message as quickly as possible after receiving your order.

PAYMENT AND DELIVERY

Automatic payment can be made via PayPal, Bancontact, IDEAL, 

If the delivery of your order takes longer than expected, there can be several
reasons for this: due to our manual processes, we could need a little longer to
prepare your order, or the mail services are slower than usual due to high logistics
demand, especially before Christmas. For your special custom-made orders, a
deposit of 50% will be requested once the order has been confirmed by Penduka
Trust in Namibia.


SERVICE AND CONTACT


Penduka strives to make as many people as possible happy with our unique
products. Because the Penduka Foundation is dependent on the delivery of the
products from Penduka Trust Namibia, we will have to be realistic about what is
possible within the limitations that distance and communication entail. The product
selection is already such that we have insight into the best and fastest sold products.
We keep a small stock of these products in the Penduka store in Groningen and our
deposit in Germany with which we can serve you.


In the unlikely event that your selected product is unavailable at short notice, we will
be in touch with you within 48hs of your order payment and find a solution.

WARRANTY AND RETURN


Penduka makes only unique products, no two products are exactly the same. The
batik dyes are often mixed by hand and feeling, the embroidered images will always
deviate from what you see on the webshop pictures since every product is unique.
We only give strong guidance as to the colors of the embroidery yarn(s) and leave
the choice of motifs to the creative power of the responsible Penduka artists. If you
have a particular preference (many animals/ agricultural scenes etc.), please
mention this when ordering and we will send you an example photo before the
product is sent.


Exchange

 

Should you prefer a different product than the one you have received, please let us
know within one month after receipt of your order, and we will discuss the best
solution. We can exchange e.g. in our distribution store in Groningen, Holland, or our
German storage in Munich. Please contact christien.penduka@gmail.com to
determine proceedings. Address: Paterswoldseweg 64, 9726BG, Groningen, The
Netherlands. Please understand that we cannot exchange used and/or washed
products.

Incomplete products
If you receive – despite all our efforts - an incomplete or damaged product, please
report this in advance by email to christien.penduka@gmail.com


After this, you can return the product in question within 14 days after receipt of your
order in the original envelope or box free of charge to: Foundation/Stichting
Penduka, Paterswoldseweg 64, 9726 BG, Groningen, The Netherlands.


Please mention on an accompanying note the order number and which product(s)
you want to receive in return. We will send the new product(s) to you as soon as
possible after receiving the return shipment. We take care of the postage costs for
resending. The same return conditions apply to foreign shipments.
